November Art- Watercolor

Well, the tree went up early this year.   Since the watercolor picture took 3 weeks to make, (3 hrs total), the picture would be completed just in time to decorate the walls for Christmas.

The inspiration was from under the tree.  To get a few ornaments, some tree branches and a present or two.  The anticipation.  We were also able to focus on the element of intensity and how to draw a cube for the present.  We talked about Vincent VanGogh on the last day of class and had a short quiz about our knowledge of him.

now they all have a great picture to put on their walls this season.
Clearly, Im excited for Christmas, but I need to say,.......

Happy Thanksgiving
to you!

See you all in December for printmaking month.  I have a super fun idea for making the stamps and Im looking forward to it.
