About Me

I have a love for art and creating things, a love for kids and therefore, I feel I have the best possible job for me.  God placed this job in my lap when a friend of mine asked if I would teach her child art and then after the word got out, I kept getting asked to teach more children.  It just went from there.   I feel very blessed.  When I am not teaching art, I'm working on my own art.  Follow my progress at www.brendacalvertart.com  or buy some pieces of art for you or a friend at My Etsy Store . I am a mom to 3 kids.  I have been married for 15 years and love spending time with my family. I have lived in Lynden since I was 3yrs old; what a great community to raise a family in.  I look forward to getting to know you more.
