Happy New Year, 2016

Happy New year!
The December break was wonderful and now I'm ready for art class this week!  I hope you had a nice break as well.   

All my classes are full for the rest of this school year and I have 10 families on the waitlist.  

Sign ups for next school year starting March 21, 2016.

Sign ups for Summer Art camp will start January 20th, 2016.  The Camp will be July 11-15 and will be $60 per artist.

Sign up sheets for Summer Art camp and the next school year will be available on this blog.




Here is a look at the upcoming art class dates.   In January we will be painting owls!

Family Update:

Hello-It's been awhile since I have posted pictures of my family.  My kids have gotten so much bigger, I want you to see!  This is the link to see the pictures.   The Photographer is a kind, talented lady from church, Highly recommended!

Also, I am writing to let you know I will be cancelling my Wednesday classes starting in January 2016.  Wednesday classes will resume for October and November 2015, but will then be no longer from Jan-Apr.  I am having to cut back on my actvities.  In June, my body crashed and I was in bed for 6 weeks.   Now, that homeschool and art classes have started up, I feel my body slowing down and loss of energy starting to happen.   So, I felt the Lord telling me to cancel one of my art days.   I told my Wednesday students of the change happening in January and I was overwhelmed with their love and concern.  You never know what people are thinking and to have them respond in that way was so nice.  They really love the art classes and what I am doing here in class each week.  I feel bad to take that away from them.  As it goes for most moms, I am sure it is hard for a lot of us to say no.  But, I must save my energies for my kids and husband.  So, this is the best solution for right now.  I just dont want to get sick again.   

That saying, "the days are long but the years are short" is so true.   Just seeing how much my kids have grown in pictures is amazing because it is hard to see in the day to day.   
I feel so fortunate to have such loyal art students that come to me year after year.  This speaks to me more than you know.  Watching your kids grow has been a huge blessing.   Some students I have had for 5 or 6 years!      Watching their artistic growth has been amazing as well.  So fun to see their artwork.

Thus, having cut back one day, my classes are now full with no room in the Thursday and Saturday classes.  
I will be having an art show on April 1st.  I hope you all attend this fun evening together.  Save the date!
