Well, we painted on Canvas this month! It always proves to have great results. I am happy with the results. You will notice that I led in the paintings of the cows and Mt. Shuksan for the younger classes and the older kids 10-18yrs had a choice of what they wanted to paint. It led to some great stuff!

April classes are starting today!
We are painting on Canvas this week starting today, Wednesday. I have 68 students signed up to paint this month. I look forward to showing you all their finished project at the end of the month! The students are going to have a hard time deciding what to put in the art show in May. They have to pick from all their projects from the whole school year and pick their favorite to enter.
The art show at the Lynden library will be May 20-25.
An artist reception for all the friends and family will be
May 21, Tuesday 6:30p-8:00pm.
Mark your calendars! It will be a fun event where the students get to show off their hard work, have refreshments, get their certificates and enter into a drawing for a free summer art camp.
See you for April Art class in my studio,

It was a lot of work to do a picture out of dots! But, the result was worth it. Good job kids!
Mixed media Picasso
The kids made their own Picasso's this month and studied Pablo Picasso. It was a lot of fun and very imformative! It was so fun that I let them get out the door without taking a picture of their work. Sometimes I just get so busy, I cant fit it all in. But, here is my picasso to give you a good idea of what the project was.
The students got very creative and we cut, glued, painted, oil pasteled, crayoned and inked. Very fun project that made us think outside the box!
